The Ambulatory Surgery Center of Westchester is committed to providing special care for our youngest patients. Several of our anesthesiologists are fellowship-trained, Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologists.
A Family-Friendly Environment
Parents may stay with their child in a private cubicle (with TV) before surgery and during recovery
For younger patients, one parent may often accompany the child into the operating room until the child has fallen asleep
Bringing Your Child
Please bring a favorite soft toy or blanket
Leave siblings at home with a caregiver — non-patient children are not allowed in clinical areas, and childcare is not available
