After your case is scheduled, an ASCW financial coordinator verifies your insurance benefits, estimates the amount you owe, and contacts you to confirm it. Payment is due in full before or at registration; surgery may be canceled if your financial obligation is not paid. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and bank debit cards. We do not accept cash. Insurance estimates are based on the planned procedure and are not a guarantee of payment; regardless of coverage, the patient is responsible for timely resolution of the account balance. Extended payment plans are available for patients with financial hardship — an application is required.
